I'm curious, although so far a great many 'lost episodes' have been
posted for downloads, it would seem that only Dean appears to be in
full possession of many of the episodes not yet posted for download.

I'm curious about some of the missing episodes from 1979, which
include the debut appearance of Tim Brooke-Taylor, also two
appearances by a chap named Kenneth Robinson, as well as an appearance
by Miriam Margoyles I believe. I'm sure I'm not the only one curious
about those episodes in general.

I had them on cassette via Dean. Miriam flirts and pretends only to be
paid in men's phone numbers, Tim is clever and wins his first episode.
Kenneth Robinson was a writer IIRC who tried to stand his ground as a
serious player and wound up blending into the furniture.

June Whitfield also had at least one hilarious show that season or the
season before. Her first challenge was that she dropped her buzzer
while Peter Jones was steadying her nerves. I also have on my list of
gotta-get-on-mp3s from that period plummy-voiced Joan Bakewell,
although what I remember most about her eppy was Kenneth talking about
an older girl (babysitter?) in his hometown who apparently was his ideal.

Well, we may get to hear them if ABC Radio National keeps up with its
JAM broadcasts and doesn't decide to skip any programs. They're
currently midway through Series 12 (1978) which means in several
weeks' time they'll start broadcasting Series 13 from 1979, of which
the majority are "lost" and no one apart from Dean seems to own. :)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are broadcasted.

yeah, I recall reading the transcript where Tim was brilliant and how Miriam stood her ground also against Kenneth, which was great, and that poor Mr. Robinson seemed out of his element.  these are the eps I'm sure others are dying to hear, myself included.  good luck getting that stuff mp3ed.
