I had them on cassette via Dean. Miriam flirts and pretends only to be
paid in men's phone numbers, Tim is clever and wins his first episode.
Kenneth Robinson was a writer IIRC who tried to stand his ground as a
serious player and wound up blending into the furniture.

June Whitfield also had at least one hilarious show that season or the
season before. Her first challenge was that she dropped her buzzer
while Peter Jones was steadying her nerves. I also have on my list of
gotta-get-on- mp3s from that period plummy-voiced Joan Bakewell,
although what I remember most about her eppy was Kenneth talking about
an older girl (babysitter? ) in his hometown who apparently was his ideal.
