Topic: Only tenuously JAM related, but sad news...

Just found out John Inman, Wendy Richard's costar on "Are You Being
Served?", died today age 71. Inman is also briefly mentioned in KW's
diaries.
I was an AYBS fan before JAM (it was purely coincidental that the
first JAM eppy I heard had Wendy on it), so I'm particularly crushed.

that's terribly sad news. Wendy has been visiting John regularly and has
been on radio this morning in tears.
