Hi
It would be good also if someone posted just the audio. The download size for video can get large, and I think many of us listen when travelling and wouldn't look at the pictures anyway (as with the existing files of the original series).

I would say the by far best solution on such large files like this is to share them via torrents first. Youtube videos are quite compressed and as far as I know you need to rip them off the flash stream.
The best would be to get some good copies into circulation, and then rather from there upload them to video sites for user friendlyness etc. But we should establish some shared version of the prime version of the recordings first, simply to "get them out there" in the best possible quality first.
In My Opinion, of course.

On UK Nova, I had a look last night and I was able to join very simply last night and have posted in the forums and been welcomed! http://www.uknova.com/wsgi/topic/view/102017 Of course I haven’t as yet tried to post a file or download one there – but it looks like joining up isn’t an issue. On YouTube, people can have their material ripped down if its a breach of copyright – but if you look here you can see that the last series of Have I Got News For You is still available and being posted by several different people http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hignfy+series+42&oq=hignfy+series+42&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&gs_sm=3&gs_upl=214l5503l0l6255l13l13l0l6l6l1l588l2541l2.1.4-1.3l7l0 Having said that – if we did post on YouTube you’d be well advised to download from there to yr PC in case it did get pulled down. On durations the files often get posted in 10 minute bits. This doesn’t bother me, but if there are better sites that’s great.Dropbox looks very promising though the Forum page seems to be full of complaints. Still I’d take Don’s advice if he finds it good.I liked the tenor of Espen’s comments too.

Subject: Re: [just-a-minute] Re: less than 2 weeks away...Whoa - you struck it lucky there alright Dean - you'll find it won't be open for joining up for long.Get in there while you can chaps.Totally agree with kJ - I have mentioned before that not everything on there is for re-distribution.Mark - you don't have to upload anything to keep your ratio, in fact you have to apply to be an uploader and be approved.I have been a member for 5 years and have never uploaded anything.I just make sure I seed anything I download until the Torrent expires and my score is always good.Plus I download the popular progs such as JaM, ISIHAC, News Quiz, Now Show, Afternoon Play
So there's always plenty of people wanting to leech them.Simples--Cheers
