Hi all. Thanks to 3 (count 'em - three!) computers in two locations set up to record this morning, we have

to replace the existing version which I now notice was badly slowed down: their voices all sounded very strange in comparison with the good new copy.

I never know how to save these nylon.net files (I have an iMac) ...

I'm not a Mac user but you must be able to do something along the lines of

Click the link to play the .mp3 file in your audio player

Save the .mp3 file to your desktop or a folder by using a command from the player's menu

However, I'm sure there must be a more elegant way.

Incase this helps...

From mail you should be able to right click on a link and see an option 'Download Linked File' - this will place the file in your downloads directory (which is in your home directory)

If you click on the link, it should open it and start to play in a browser. at the top of the screen, you should see the file menu, you can select File-> Save as to save it where you want
