With March Madness (men's college basketball tournament) going on in
the states, I entertained thoughts of making a tournament bracket of
those who made one Just a Minute appearance (as in one recording but
not two), but then I didn't know whether we had 64 who would qualify,
same as the NCAAs.

We'd have divisions named Nimmo, Williams, Freud and Jones; players
seeded 1-16 in each division (Elaine Stritch would clearly be the top
seed in her division), analysis of the episode and a panel of three
deciding who advances. I could see Lorraine Chase pulling a George
Mason and making the final four.

Thoughts? Or just confusion?

I'm not entirely sure how the comp would work - but there are only 42
single-show players so far. Including TV players...

Chris Addison (2007), Toni Arthur (1985), Isobel Barnett (1968),
Elizabeth Beresford (1968), Teddie Beverley (1969), Carol Binstead
(1967), Barbara Blake (1968), Ann Bryson (1994), Rob Buckman (1980),
Barbara Castle (1971), Craig Charles (1995), Lorraine Chase (1979), Alun
Cochrane (2007), Kenny Everett (1980), Wilma Ewart (1967), Craig
Ferguson (1993), Fenella Fielding (1969), Emma Freud (1990), Rhod
Gilbert (2005), Janey Godley (2006), Deanne Hart (1970), Renee Houston
(1968), Miles Kington (1983), Moira Lister (1969), Bettine Le Beau
(1968), Sean Lock (2002), Lee Mack (2004), Miriam Margolyes (1979),
Carolyn Marshall (1995), Alistair McGowan (1993), Bob Monkhouse (1980),
Marjorie Proops (1968), Caroline Quentin (1993), Beryl Reid (1967), Ted
Robbins (1994), Millie Small (1968), Elaine Stritch (1982), Una Stubbs
(1968), Sandi Toksvig (1991), Joan Turner (1971), Anona Winn (1968),
Michael Wood (1982)

adding in two game players would add in another 43...

I take it that is a list of single-recording performers, rather than
single-game players, since they record them back-to-back most of the
time.

no, it was a list of single GAME players. Over the years they have
occasionally changed a player or two between first and second recording,
and still do each year in the Edinburgh recording.

With respect, you're unlikely to catch me out on that sort of JAM
detail! I've spent about eight years on this sort of thing, you know.
