I'm at the moment compiling a list of people who for one reason or another should never have been on JAM in the first place, either because their contribution was so minimal as to make their presence on the program non-existant, or they simply weren't any good at the game, or they just seemed completely out of their element and you wonder why this person is even on the program in the first place.
Amongst the first people I'd like to nominate is Janet Brown. she seemed sweet enough, was quite keen in wanting to speak and in her challenges, but she was something of a one trick pony, she was a professional impressionist, and more often than not relied on the same impersonations throughout each of her appearances. she did have some good moments, but only in connection to her appearances with Magnus Pyke, in the presence of a more seasoned panel, she didn't do as well and frankly, after a while, her voice began to grate a bit on
the ear.
someone else I'd like to nominate is Thora Hird. I have nothing against her at all, but she was too polite to be on the show, she never challenged anyone, she was too kind quite frankly, which is a rare thing on the show, in fact its something that's virtually non-existant on the program, except in some occasions with Wendy Richard. but in all honesty, they shouldn't have asked her to be on the show.
another individual I'd like to nominate is Joan Turner, for the simple fact that the blasted woman didn't say anything at all, she laughed but didn't even utter a single word. she didn't do anything even worth noticing or remembering.
I'll open the floor, see who anyone else can think of?
