I've noticed that many of the uploaded programmes are hosted by MediaFire. Does MediaFire offer free accounts, and if so, do they cap the transfer speed or available web space? Are there better alternatives?

The 'Free' accounts sound good, and I can see how zipping similar files would make accessing them simpler. But I don't know if this would be the best method of creating a 300 gb library (instead of paying the $9/month to allow for downloading mutiple files with a single click). Thanks for your input.
