I've done the same on several shows I got in my archive too! First
done some basic tweaking to remove hiss and balance out the audio to
the best of my abilities, then spliced them whenever I had a better,
incomplete snippet.
Now that I think about it, that might have been the explenation on
how I have been able to offer requested complete recordings of some
shows earlier!
