Greetings to all and many thanks to Dean for the invitation to join
the group and the innovation of creating it.

I've known Dean for several years now, sharing a mutual interest in
Just A Minute, and even had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of
years back over a long lunch.

I'm hugely impressed by the whirlwind of activity that has
accompanied this group's creation and am happy to offer my
contribution to the affray.

I have a concise list of all Just A Minute episodes at:

http://martinsotr.dnsalias.com/logs/Just%20A%20Minute%20-%20Episode%
20List.pdf

and this also indicates the episodes that I hold, and more
relevantly for me, the ones that I don't hold.

Of course this is a mere shadow of Dean's authoritative web site:
http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Stage/2262/jam.html

I'm happy to share episodes and would appreciate fills where I am
missing programmes. My files are all digital MP3, of varying quality
depending on the source. I use a paid file sharing system, MediaMax
(previously known as Streamload) to make the files accessible on-
line. Like MediaFile, it is blindingly fast for downloads and also
occasionally unrelaiable. I happily will send download links to
individuals in response to specific requests but I am not in a
position to openly publicise links to my total collection for
wholesale downloading since all downloads are deducted from my paid
quota.

ABC Radio National (Australia) is currently broadcasting Just A
Minute at 5:30am on Mondays (which I record) and is up to '248 Being
Scared'. In another 12 weeks the broadcasts will reach 259 Getting
Wound Up and a group of episodes that seem to be missing from most
people's collections.

Once again, thanks for the invitation and congratulations on the
great work thus far!

Martin

Martin, what's incredible is your wealth of episodes between seasons 8-10 that most people seem to be missing! I was practically going into seizures on marking you down on the list.

Question: I don't quite understand why you're being forced into paying for your uploads. Have you already stored your episodes on MediaMax? If something like that is the case, would it be possible (once I can compile a list of the episodes that only you specifically could provide the group) for you to simply send me the download links, and then I can reupload them to MediaFire for general consumption (with due credit to you, of course)? That avoids the necessity of many people DLing from your files. Or is that not the issue?

I'm so glad that some station is finally going to broadcast those episodes! I'm marking my calendar for 12 weeks from now! I've just looked, and I think I can Listen Live to that broadcast (it'll be Sunday 1:30 pm here), which is great because when the BBC broadcasts QI, I'm in Greek class--argh!
