Hi folks,

I just thought I'd chip in on the subject of the title of "Beyond Our Ken" in case anyone thought it was a bit odd.

"Ken" obviously refers to Kenneth Horne but it also has a double meaning. In many North-of-England and Scottish dialects (and possibly others) "ken" also means "know", "understand" or "knowledge" - as in the folk song "Do you ken John Peel"

So "Beyond Our Ken" can also mean "Beyond Our Understanding".

Cheers
