Interesting views, Wayne

I'm not sure that you get paid less for radio than TV because there are fewer listeners.  Rajar does not (publically) break down most Radio4 programmes, but I would have thought that Just a Minute brings in 4-5million listeners per week.  This would compare very favourably with TV panel games.  I suspect it gets good figures too from World Service etc.

Richard Madeley would be good as a guest.  So too would both Jeremy Vine (and his brother Tim)

Hello All
This is interesting as the views on his working for Wonga Add seems to have upset some people. I agree somewhat with Steven in that he needs to work as he is an actor at the end of the day.  Someone of his standing would not be very well paid as his TV work is limited and radio pays a lot less as it does have smaller listener numbers than viewing TV shows. This is one reason why he has tried to push JAM onto the TV for many years as is evidenced from his many references to TV and JAM within the show itself. As for having a moral compass and perhaps not working for this or that company. Very few people will know its him and he is not credited anywhere as far as I could search, so not much to lose and with repeat fees a lot to gain.
Yes Harry Hill may well be good at this as he is an intelligent man and it would be nice to hear him have a go, but he does like to hug the limelight a bit and this may put him off.  What about Angus Deyton with Paul Merton....an interesting show that would make given that Angus had an affair with Pauls wife "allegedly". See Wiki.
Richard Wilson would make a good host "bit old tho"
Richard Madely just to see him fail really.
Jeremy Vine
May all be good guests

I was surprised to hear Nick's familiar tones on this ad for a firm of less than pure reputation, but I can't blame him... If I was his age and a large wad of cash was offered for a few hours of my time I'd take it. After all he may be wanting to leave something behind for his wife and family should the worst happen...

(BTW I think Dale Winton would be terrible...! I'd suggest Harry Hill for an appearance.)
