The ribing did go on a bit more than needed-

Now I do like David Tennant but I don't think he is "chairman" material- maybe he will loosen up a bit as the series goes on.
Paul merton or someone like Bill Bailey would have been better choices in my opinion-we shall see.

I did remember the show The Ugliest Girl in Town-I was pretty young but I was aware of it. Drag is rarely an american comic thing although Milton Berle used it & there was that one tv show with tom hanks that was popular.
I just wish usa tv would Rediscover the "panel show"
for goodness sake shows like What's My Line & To Tell the Truth were very popular in their day ( and I bet they are cheap to make)
