It's good to see The Old Country helping out with the provision of old JAMs.

I don't hold out any hope, but it will be nice if any of the missing first series eps magically appeared!

Ok im getting a little excited.

BBC4 Extra have up their schedule for next thursday which covers JAM and it reads

==========================================================
09:30 – 10:00 Just a Minute

20/01/1968

Nicholas Parsons welcomes Derek Nimmo, Clement Freud, Prunella Scales and Andree Melly.

==========================================================
This places it as episode 5 of the first series (1 day out but the only time that panel was together). This is not part of my collection, has a ? on Dean's site and is listed is missing. So is this a unreleased new airing for the first time or are my hopes raised falsely?

I just listened to the pilot episode on iPlayer. The announcer mentioned that next week's episode would be from 1968 starring Prunella Scales so it looks like we could be in for a real treat!

I'll be downloading these episodes and am happy to share them on here. Would members prefer to hear them with the Radio 4 Extra announcer comments before and after the show left in, or edited out?

Yip im excited and can not wait for next thursday.

And this leads to the question of are all the 'missing' episodes in the bbc archive and if so will we ever get to hear them? Are they going in some sort of sequence or will they revisit episodes 3 & 4 at some time?

I am genuinely exited over this. If i had a bouncey emoticon i'd post 7.

Thank you in advance Simon.

I don't like announcements included but it is very easy for me to top and tail as required using mp3DirectCut so please feel free to leave them in for those who do like them.

I prefer the announcer is included if possible, I think it is fun to hear how the shows were introduced.

BBC Radio have also announced plans for their new Listeners' Archive which may bring in a few more "missing" episodes:
