Thanks for all the comments regarding listening preferences. I've decided to upload two versions of each episode as broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra. We start with yesterday's edition - which was also repeated this morning at 2.30am!

On my DAB radio, Radio 4 Xtra is broadcast as 80 kbps Mono. I took my recording from iPlayer where it's available as 128 kbps Stereo AAC and re-encoded to 128 kbps Stereo MP3.

As these early episodes are all Mono I could actually reduce the file size by mixing down to a single channel but thought I'd leave it as broadcast. I could do 64 kbps Mono if preferred?
