Just A Minute

Hi Everyone,

I hear Nicholas will be on UK Radio 4's Gardeners' Questiontime this week - possibly talking about herbaceous borders.

I went to see Ross Noble last weekend in his Mindblender Tour. I laughed and laughed. Well worth a visit. Jimmy Savile got a mention as you would expect. A couple of his jokes he admitted some of us might have to go off and Google the subject. The sight gags were great. A lot of the humour is off the hoof and depends on his working with the audience (though one suspects he repeats these or works them in) and it hard hard to identify any theme. Needless to say the humour went from here to there and back again. Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't been yet. Oh he's not quite like on the telly or radio - somewhat ruder, which made the experience all the more thrilling and funny.
