Not really, I use an emulator for old games! It's a dig at some of my apple friends!

Not got to the JaM episodes of Sir Patrick Moore (listening to the Williams years and Merton years in order from the start) but he was a genius and will be sadly missed. Loved listening to him and occasionally watched the Stars at Night mainly because of Sir Patrick. He made it interesting without making you feel like you were a 3 year old braindead idiot as most presenters do nowadays (yes im looking at Professor Brian Cox).

I think i'll upload my ipod with his episodes as a tribute to the great man.

Hi All
Well he did have a good run really. I watch a documentary on him a few years back and he lived a very less than lavish life style, I suppose frugal would be the word. He was one of those people who you had to watch when he was on because he was so off the wall in many ways, but we never got to know much about him really.  I have listened to the episodes with him in them and he would talk so fast that he would always become one to challenge easily. I cant say he was a good player "to say nothing of his 40inch reflector" (If I got the quote correct).

We dont seem to have anyone on TV nowadays that are like the Clements, Kenneths and Derek and thats a shame. Although Paul Merton, Tim Rice (Sir) and Graham Norton are good players, they dont seem to compare, but then perhaps its just me.  Some of the lines Kenneth came out with make me laugh out loud..."OOOh whats that smells like Bombay Duck", still makes me grin :)
Night All and Sir Patrick of course.
