It was The Goon Show that got me into this 'collecting radio comedy' malarky all those years ago.

I listened to it Live as young sprog; it was my weekly treat to be allowed to stay up late to listen to it on the old 'steam radio' as my Dad used to call it. I decided I need to collect the entire catalogue.

The rest, they say, is history...

 

OK so what do I need to do to start recording the Goons for myself then?

I assume it's an Internet stream waiting to be captured...

The ABC Radio National programme for 2013 has been posted... and it does not include JAM.  There will be the Goons, "My Word" on Sunday, and "radio comedy" on Saturday.

The new schedule begins in February, so enjoy your JAM while you can... we might only get to episode 102.
