Apart from the three eps in series 2 where the chairperson rotated through three episodes, there have been 6 other occasions where Nicholas played as panelist and one of the other panelists became chairman. However, neither Peter nor Derek has ever appeared as chairman.

Of these 6 episodes, 2 were chaired by Kenneth (in 1970 and 1983), 3 by Clement (in 1970, 1977 and 1983) and once by Andre Melly (in 1972).

Obviously, Nicholas is mis-remembering things, or they were never broadcast. Who knows, really?

Parsons mentions that there were four special / extra episodes a number of years ago, where each of the four regulars (KW, PJ, DN and CF) chaired an episode and NP was one of the contestants.
