I agree. Thing was that in the series after Humph died they did three evenings (6 shows) with 3 different chairs, and the other two seemed as if they were stand ins reading a script written for Humph. Whereas Jack filled the same niche in the programme while remaining very much in his own comedy persona. The other two were doing bad pastiches of Humph- Jack was being "Jack Dee" and echoing Humph much better.
