No apologies needed. I forgot about the testing also. That is definitely a backup plan.

Don't forget Dropbox - we took testing that off-line from the Group email and got it working.
I meant to announce it but slipped my mind, apols.

If the Group member has a Dropbox account it's a breeze, if they don't we can share the website link.
Simples.

Hi Don,

I have been hearing all kind of crazy things about Mediafire lately. I am thinking about starting to look around for somewhere else that doesn't impose wait times or captchas. Quite a bit of what I share is shared with people with vision problems and Captcha can be an issue. I think SkyDrive may be the way to go. Just needs to be sorted out a little better I think.

Anywho, Look out for News quiz in the next half hour or so.

All The Best

Paul

Great stuff, thanks Paul.

Just a heads-up for the future...

One of the other Yahoo Groups I'm in has reported that Mediafire has tagged files in zip archives as being 'Copyright violation'.
Strangely the actual content (a radio programme) bore no audible resemblance to the media cited as being shared illegally (a piece of classical music).

It could just have been a coincidence in that the compressed zip file had a signature similar to that of a genuine piece of music or even just a c**k-up by MediaFire.

We can cross that bridge if/when we come to it.
