Is that the Herring who co-wrote 'Time Gentlemen Please' and appeared as the bean-faced postie, had Julia Swahala as a girlfriend, and worked on Alan Partridge?

Or is that a red herring?

Yes it is that Herring - and the one who has been on JAM 3 times before, has blogged everyday for ten years (I posted his previous blog about the JAM experience) and has a host of free podcasts [(the leicester square ones are the most interesting - a sideways take on the interview format), as it occurs to me (which was a weekly topicalish podcast) and more] and does a new show each year - none of which I have seen from Australia, but I got hooked on him through the outrageous Collings and Herrin podcasts.

Also, I believe, did some work with Stewart Lee back in the days (and has recently bought the rights back from the BBC for Fist of Fun [again as an australian I never saw it] to release a DVD set privately - which shows some commitment)
