Hi

I don't want to rain on your parade, but Paul recorded them off the radio onto a cassette in his bedsit & then repeatedly played them. The original recording was probably pretty ordinary, given that he wouldn't have had a very expensive set up given his circumstances - most likely the cassette recorded held against the radio. Plus the fact the recording medium is pretty ordinary. He then replayed them multiple times, further degrading them. I doubt this would, after a few decades, provide anything commensurate with the current collections.

I doubt any of the twitter accounts are real – he has made it pretty clear he is not a fan of the Internet and social media. The period when he was taping shows was late 70s, early 80s so I doubt he has any of the missing shows. But you never know, I guess. I’d say the best way to contact him would be through his agents. There’s a contact on his website.
