The thing that really irritated me about Wendy was that she would not learn. She always complained about Clement's lists after repeatedly being told that there was no rule against creating lists.

And those damned cockatiels became a tedious annoyance rather than a quaint personal eccentricity.

She was much more cheerful and agreeable in her early appearances, but rapidly became grit in the oil sump of the show.

One reason I really like WaitWait (which I assume you news quizzers also listen to) is the strong women that they have on

Jeremy (was and always will be a proud SNAG)

For me Sheila is gracious and fun in her demeanor - the other panelists seem quite happy to have her there, and she just seems to get along so well with other great players. I felt there were times you could almost hear the ice from others when Wendy was playing the game.

Hello

I love Aimee McDonald and she is still around and wonder if they would invite her back or if she would actually go! Sheila is a star and is on par with any of the male players without doubt. She plays it tough if they are going that way, but also pulls back and allows the show to flow.

Lovely Wendy as she was a niggle on the show and her moans are funny, even if she was not trying to be funny.

And this is what makes the show different for all of us. We listen and enjoy for many different reasons.

... Not to mention the ridiculous challenges on words like "I", "on", "me", "at", etc. She kept doing it over and over, long after her newbie-eagerness should be over. It appears to me like she never really understood it was a game, but saw it more like a fight.

I see she is compared with Clement but while he could be both aggressive and most definitely eager to win, he did not go on like Wendy.

From what I read in wendy's autobiography she had a rough few yrs not just with her health but in her marriages/relationships. I think that tainted her attitudes quite abit.
Sometimes I enjoyed her on JAM and other times I didn't. JMO
