Sorry for going off topic here, but: Is the forum nonfunctional now?
I've now tried to post a new thread multiple locations, but it never
shows up anywhere. No warnings, no messages, I just click on "post" and
poff it's gone.

What I tried to post was essentially this:

I got a couple of suggestions regarding the forum.

I am sorry but my head is simply flat out unable to remember that domain
name. :( Could we possibly ask Dean to make a forum subdomain to his
domain and point that at the forum?

I would also suggest a *lot* fewer forums and subforums. It is a much
better practise to start with a few categories (I think a "general" and
maybe a dedicated "file archive" category is all that is needed at this
stage, really), and expand as needed, instead of building a gigantic,
unpopulated castle.
