Sorry for being off topic of JAM for a minute, but I'm in the fortunate position to be able to say I have EXTRA tickets for Aye Write event - I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. Join Barry Cryer, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden as they mark the publication of their new book celebrating 40 years of being given silly things to do.
Aye Write is a Glasgow (UK*) based book festival, from the 12th to the 20th of April. There are loads of events - most of which aren't very well publicised. I have a teacher friend who asked if I wanted to go to the Clue Event. Well - is the Pope Argentinian!??! Of course I did. And since there were tickets left, I said get 4. SO I have 2 extra.
The event is on 13 April, 18:00 - 19:00 in Glasgow's Mitchell Library. SO if you wanna come..... The tickets were a tenner - payable to friend!!
Sandi Toksvig is also speaking - She's on the 12th.
I have local friends who might go - but who aren't really fans - so I thought I'd ask here first cos I know you peeps are really true fans of the Radio Comedy.
Email me off list if you want the tix. I'm also expecting most of you to say "thanks but....." ;-)
Kirsty
* Other Glasgows are available, so I thought I'd clarify!
