Some of you may be (or becoming) Richard Herring fans from his developing JAMs. Many of you are Stephen fry fans. Well the two have finally come together.
For a couple of years Richard has been doing these RHLSTP interview podcasts with a range of (mainly) Uk comedy luminaries (Tim minchin, David Mitchell, the guys from league of gentlemen, jonathon Ross and many more). A warning, the podcasts are definitely R rated and not for the faint hearted, and Richard plays somewhat silly with some regular emergency questions (have you seen a ghost, ham hand or sunscreen armpit, and more) but the results are intimate and full of surprises. (I think he disarms his guests). I don't often do this, but I am re listening to the previous series & enjoying them.
Anyway, as you may have read in the papers, he interviewed Stephen this week, and got some very revealing answers. I have in the past questioned the Fry persona on this list, but I have a new respect for him.
The podcasts are available (free) from iTunes (search for Richard), but for the current series there is also a video version at about 3 pounds an episode or 15 for a season pass (episodes are about 90 minutes).
I can VERY highly recommend the interviews with the string language and some of the topics (not for the car with your kids). As an indicator of how good I think these are I have subscribed for the video versions, even though due to bandwidth restrictions I'll only download one or two, because I want to support further developments.
Anyway, the video is available from go faster stripe
