Unless you have a paid-for account most, if most all, online storage sites will remove files periodically once they are not downloaded for a time. This is the main reason for dead links in the JAM Group links section.

The best site to avoid this is Mediafire - they seem to have the longest period before deletion happens.

Mediafire and other sites seem to check filenames and file signatures (patterns in the file data) to detect copyright infringement. I have found if the files are uploaded as a ZIP archive they don't get identified.

I guess that loophole will be eventually closed and they will open ZIP archives and check the names and signatures. Of course this can be negated by applying a password to the archive.

But Thanks though for all those uploads they were appreciated.
I have a streaming audio program so I can do my own- just will have to learn more about using it and Remember to Record things- time for the Post it Notes on the computer screen again :)
