While it isn't great that BBC funds are being wasted on badly handled personnel issues, BBC funds are also being idealogically squeezed by government. And then there's the profits from commercial activities that (and I freely admit I don't quite understand the logic behind this bit) are being channeled into private publishers instead of programme making.
So while it's a pain that the BBC are clamping down on filesharing etc, I don't feel I can criticise them.
