It was great to hear the first episode of JJAM today, broadcast at 4.15pm on BBC Radio 4 Extra during Mel Giedroyc's 4 O'Clock Show.

This was, in fact, the first episode recorded on 23rd September, with Jenny Eclair and Zrey Sholapurkar sitting on the left, Yvonne Slater and Nicholas Parsons seated in the middle, and Kitty Fry and Josie Lawrence on the right.

The running time is 25 minutes so it's around the same length as the regular editions. It's available on iPlayer for the next 7 days. Episode 2 is tomorrow...

At the recording on 23rd September there were cards on the tables with each child's name. "ZREY" and "KITTY" were up first, followed by "ROSA" and "WILLIAM", and then "JONAH" and "FRANCESCA".

Interestingly, if you Google his full name, you'll see that Zrey also appeared on another BBC Radio show, "Saturday Live", a few days later (28th September), talking about his experience on the panel.

All,

I can't find this anywhere. I tried every combination I could think of on
IPlayer but nothing came up. I specifically searched for Parsons, Minute,
various combinations of 4:00 show, etc. Did it already expire or not show
up yet? What should I be looking for as it isn't obvious? The only
"Minute" shows I found were the 15 Minute dramas. Is there a program ID or
other indicator of where the show can be found? I should be able to get it
as it's on Extra.
