They cut back on the touring three or four years ago as a cost-cutting thing. Since then, apart from the annual Edinburgh trip where as the BBC sets up there for a few weeks, there isn’t the same budget issue, they have just been doing one non-London performance a year. They have six shows "in the can" and they're recording another two in a couple of weeks, on Friday, 21st February.

One thing I noticed that is unusual for this new series, is that it has been recorded entirely at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House. Usually, they record two episodes at an alternate venue...
