An interesting episode last night. A complete minute from Sheila, who was most surprised and added, "That's the first time I've ever done that!" which, of course, is incorrect as she's managed it half a dozen times over the last 47 years.

There don't seem to be any missing rounds as the subjects are given out clockwise around the panel twice before ending with Paul for round 9, so presumably they've just edited out some of the banter in between.

According to the website, next week they'll be playing the second show featuring Fi Glover, although I suppose this is subject to change and they may slip in one of last Friday's recordings instead...

I thought it was a particularly good programme, certainly the best of the season so far. Sheila was very good, as was Josie. They really both lift any show they are in and – in my opinion – they should be appearing more often than once a year.

An interesting factoid. Sheila’s complete minute was on the subject “how to win an argument with a teenager”. Her last complete minute in 2005 was on “how to win an argument””. I guess winning arguments can count as her specialist subject!

I quite enjoyed this episode and I Love having Shelia back!

Richard Herring is starting to get in there more and go for longer periods of time.

Josie is good fun as is Paul.

Some difficult ( and new?) topics too.

On a side note as I listened yesterday I was drinking tea out my new mug that I found online-

"Keep Calm and Watch Paul Merton"  LOL- it should say and "Listen" to him too

Too bad the BBC doesn't have Radio show merchandise like they have for their tv shows I would buy a JAM mug or tee shirt but then I am on the Silly and Strange side :)

Just got round to listening to this episode - what a cracker!

I especially enjoyed Sheila Hancock - please bring her back more often BBC - she was brilliant. Richard Herring is getting better too, as has been said before.

Paul did not play a major part did he, as reflected in his score.

How did Josie Lawrence win for goodness sake?
Oh well, ho hum.
