Paul Merton - because no matter what the general quality of the show,
the subjects and the other panellists, you always know that you are
guaranteed some laughs when he is on the programme.

>2. If I could pick four people for my best ever Just a Minute panel,
they would be... because...

Oooo, tricky... I'll go for Paul Merton, Stephen Fry, Peter Jones and
Clement Freud, because I think they have the best combination of
humour, intellect, a good spirit of playing the game and repartee with
one another.

>3. The person/s I would like to hear more of on Just a Minute is....
because...

Stephen Fry or Dara O'Briain, simply because they are two of my
favourites and they always make me laugh very much.

>4. The first time I heard Just a Minute, I thought...

Do you know, shamefully I cannot remember when first heard the show? A
shocking admission, I know. I feel suitably ashamed of myself.

> 5. I think if Kenneth Williams and Paul Merton had ever been on the
show together....

I don't think Kenneth would have liked it - from the recordings I've
heard he seems to have generally preferred it when people took the
subjects fairly seriously, and I'm not sure he would have had much
patience with Paul's flights of fancy. I think he would have gotten a
bit tetchy.

>6. The funniest moment ever on Just a Minute was...

Oooo, crumbs... Difficult to suddenly think of something off the top
of my head!

>7. The reason I love listening to Just a Minute is...

It always makes me laugh and cheers me up!

>8. If you've been to a Just a Minute recording, tell us about it!

Sadly I have never been to one. I can never seem to find out when and
where they are going to be, and how to go about getting tickets.

>9. If you've ever played Just a Minute yourself, tell us about it!

I have never tried it. However, I have very occasionally appeared on
the radio in a very minor capacity, and when listening back am
horrified at how often I "er". So I rather suspect that I would be
very bad at the game indeed, sadly.

> 10. If I could meet a Just a Minute star and ask them one question,
who would it be and what question?

Stephen Fry, probably. And because I am a sad anorak, I'd ask him what
his Doctor Who script, sadly abandoned, was going to be about.

> 11. The Just a Minute star I most look like/act like is...

No idea! One of the poor, ugly ones!

> 12. If I had to speak for 60 seconds on a subject without
hesitation, repetition or deviation, it would be...

I think the history of Formula One motor racing, George Orwell, or
British television would be my best bets. I doubt I'd make much of a
stab at it, though!
