I stumbled upon series 1 and 2 of Paul Merton: The Series (1991-1992).
(Don't ask how or where. You too can stumble, if you try.).

Very amusing. Paul is at his Milliganish best.

It's available pretty much permanently on 4od. I remember it vaguely from when it was aired. It was a little odd... back from when Paul was more strictly deadpan. :)

I bought the vhs of it several years back of series one.

-also there are some bits on the Paul Merton Collection dvd

Would like to see him do more sketch comedy again but Sadly he doesn't seem that interested  in Writing comedy over the last few years.

I did get to see his Live show "out of my head" a couple years back that more sketch material than Stand up and of course his appearance at the Comedy Store Improv  sunday nights

I have been re watching some of his travel dvds- sadly they never have released the last one he did and have not been able to find it online anywhere.

It's no secret they are available as a torrent on the Pirate Bay.  If anyone finds their ISP blocking access try the URL come.in which gives access to several blocked sites.
